Our Story
Catering By Dale began over 24 years ago as an off-premise catering company.  CBD's new restaurant & commercial kitchen is now located at Copper at Dorset,  a new private social event space with bar service, dine in or takeout lunch, prepared meals to go and pop-up theme dinners.  We continue to provide full-service off-site catering & bar services for weddings & events at select venues or private residences.  We specialize in theme parties and enjoy creating the ultimate experience for our clients.

With many years of combined experience cooking in the finest restaurants and for the most discerning of clients, our chefs are excited to present their creations to you and your guests. Our caring and committed staff will ensure a successful event, offering top quality food & service including full bar service with experienced bartenders. Â Our in-house Wedding & Event Specialists will bring your event to fruition seamlessly.
Take Out
We have worked to package our meals in a way that allows you to  bring the quality of our meals into your home to reheat. We go out of our way to ensure our clients are extremely satisfied and we always love to see our repeat clients in person!  Over 12 frozen soups are always available in QT size plus our list of frozen meals to take home to reheat.  Enjoy a freshly made meal each week by ordering per our guidelines on our website. New:  Families can now enjoy meals designed for families of 4 (5 to 6 depending on appetite).  We provide delivery service to larger groups and our regular corporate clients.

Creating a nourishing meal that also tastes good is the reason we source only the freshest of organic ingredients from local VT purveyors. Vermont offers a plethora of opportunities for the highest quality of fresh ingredients and we enjoy the relationships we have developed while maintaining our high standards in both food & culinary expertise. Hosting your private event in our SoBu Chic social event space provides a level of privacy and exclusivity that makes any event truly memorable. Â We offer an intimate setting for all occasions, from business meetings & corporate events to family gatherings & special celebrations including birthday celebrations, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners & weddings.

Our Event Coordinators
Our team of professional event coordinators will guide you through the planning process to help you finalize all details of your special event, whether at Copper or offsite. With Susan, a Certified Wedding Consultant, this specialized team will assist with your timeline, seating chart, site visit, rental quote and all of the other details.  We specialize in estate weddings and have a list of chosen venues we prefer to  work with.
